A morning in Enge: class, light and coffee before 09:00
The first class at Anida Lab starts at 06:30, a few minutes on foot from Bahnhof Enge. Fifty minutes of movement, ten minutes of red light, a coffee, and the tram to Paradeplatz. This is how a morning in Enge fits before 09:00, with real timings.

Why the morning keeps the habit
Evenings in Zürich fill up on their own. A meeting runs late, a dinner comes up, the day decides for you. The morning is the one slot nobody else books. People who train before work keep the habit longer for a simple reason: the class is done before anything can get in the way.
There is a second reason. Movement and bright light early in the day give the body a clear signal that the day has started. Attention is sharper in the first hours at the desk, and the evening stays free.
The first class of the day starts at 06:30
Anida Lab opens Monday to Friday at 06:30. The early classes run in the Aura Room, fourteen places on the floor in front of a mirror wall of more than fifteen metres, and in the Reformer Room, five Reformers and a Pilates Tower with twelve places. Fifty minutes, finished by 07:20. The 07:00 classes end at 07:50 and still leave time for everything below.
Book the evening before, online with your email address and a code. No app is needed. If the night goes badly, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before. Arrive ten minutes early: there is time to change, leave your things and say what the body needs today.
Ten minutes of light before the desk
After the class, the Red Light Therapy cabin is a few steps away. Ten minutes, one person, red and near-infrared light in an Alpinglow cabin. For the morning, Performance & Focus is the usual programme: a clear start rather than a wind-down.
Book the slot directly after your class so the sequence runs without waiting. By 07:45 you have moved for fifty minutes and spent ten minutes in the light. The rest of the morning is yours.
What to bring, and how long the shower takes
The bag stays small. Close-fitting clothes and grip socks for the Reformer Room. A small towel. Work clothes on a hanger or rolled, so nothing creases.
A realistic sequence: arrive at 06:20, class from 06:30 to 07:20, light from 07:25 to 07:45, shower until 08:00, coffee at the counter at 08:05, on the tram at 08:20.
- Shower, change and hair: fifteen minutes. Twenty if the hair is long or the meeting is important.
- Laptop and bag stay in the changing area during the class and in the cabin.
- Breakfast can wait until the Anida Café; it is quicker than preparing it at home.
A coffee at the counter, then the tram to Paradeplatz
The Anida Café is in the same space as the rooms. An espresso or a matcha at the counter, a fresh shake if breakfast is still ahead, a seasonal snack for later in the office. Ten minutes, no detour, and the first conversation of the day is not about work.
From Bahnhof Enge the tram reaches Paradeplatz in a few minutes and the Hauptbahnhof shortly after; the S-Bahn covers the same stretch. Leaving the lab at 08:20 is comfortable for a desk in the city center at 08:45. Leaving at 08:35 still works for 09:00.
From Wollishofen, Wiedikon and the center
Gotthardstrasse 40 sits in the Enge quarter, Kreis 2, between the lake and the railway line. From Wollishofen it is one S-Bahn stop to Enge, and the bus along the Zürichsee is the alternative on a clear morning. From Wiedikon it is a short tram ride or ten minutes by bike; the path along the Sihl is quiet at that hour. From the city center the tram runs against the morning flow, which means a seat.
People who live in Enge walk. Ten minutes through the quarter or along the lake, and the day has begun before the first message arrives.
Two mornings a week are enough
The habit does not need five days. Two fixed mornings, the same class at the same time, give the body a rhythm within a month. Many people add a third morning for Red Light Therapy alone: ten minutes before work, no class, no shower.
Put the mornings in the calendar like a meeting. The schedule on this website shows the whole week; filter by class and book the next four at once. On Saturday and Sunday the lab opens at 09:00, which is a different kind of morning.
