Mat and Reformer Pilates at Anida Lab, adapted trimester by trimester and for the return after birth, in small groups and with your doctor or midwife on board.
See prices Book a classPilates can stay with you through pregnancy and back. The class stays the same. The exercises change with the body you bring that day.
You take part in the Mat and Reformer classes, adapted for you. State the pregnancy in the health questionnaire and tell your teacher before every class; each exercise is then set for where you are.
From around week sixteen, long periods lying on the back and strong flexion of the trunk leave the class. Side-lying series, work on all fours, standing balance and light springs stay. On the Reformer the springs give support rather than resistance.
After birth, the return starts with the go-ahead from your doctor or midwife at the postnatal check. The first weeks work on breath, the pelvic floor and the deep abdominal layer; loaded work comes back step by step.

Both are adapted. The Reformer gives support through the springs and a group of five; the mat offers a class of up to fourteen and more freedom in positions. Choose the format you already know, or try both.
Later than after a vaginal birth, and only with medical clearance at the postnatal check. The first classes work on breath and the pelvic floor; loaded abdominal work follows months later.
